I did not think that I needed to go to a Newcomers Class since we were only moving within the state and I felt that I had everything under control. That is, until we actually moved!
I found myself unable to make simple decisions, upset with my husband over silly matters, overwhelmed by my children, and generally abandoned by everyone.
I thought I was losing my sanity!
So imagine my relief when I was able to seek refuge every week with other women who felt exactly as I did. Somewhere in the middle of the warm fellowship of my amazing class and the gentle encouragement of Susan during the video lessons, I discovered that I was not crazy and I definitely was not alone.
I slowly came to realize that the time when I felt that everyone had forgotten me was exactly the time when I had been carried in the arms of the One who never would.
