When I first found out about a Bible study for newcomers, I quickly rejected the idea of needing to sign up. Having moved by myself to completely new places many times in my life, I thought I had moving and adjusting down to a science. Being an extrovert, it is pretty easy for me to adjust to new places and to make friends. I decided to join anyway. There is not enough room for me to share how much of a blessing this study has been to me. I have met people that I would not have otherwise. I have been stretched, encouraged, challenged, loved on and felt a part of an amazing group of women who are dealing with some of the same things I was dealing with. Everyone in the group genuinely cares about the others and desires to encourage, bless and challenge one another as we grow in our relationship with Christ. I may not have thought that I needed this group but I am so thankful that the Lord knew otherwise, as He always does. I would recommend a group like this to anyone.
