The women in our class connected incredibly deeply from the very first night we met. Two ladies were busy getting ready to move and were surprised to discover emotions they hadn't realized were so close to the surface. Now they're ready to start over and move ahead.
The relationships she made in just three weeks helped equip Kathleen for a long-distance move to Houston right after Hurricane Rita. Knowing our prayers went with her strengthened her for the chaos of settling both their home and business.
Michelle is sharing insights with her daughters as they prepare to move from Arizona to Montana.
We surprised Ann Margaret with a "diaper shower", but the love she's found in the hearts of our women surprised her even more. As usual, God showed us he's been working in the background even before we planned the class, forging powerful connections and bringing together women to be blessings in each other's lives.
Teresa, a "Just Moved" alumni, shares that the best friends she's made have been women she met through the two "After the Boxes Are Unpacked" classes she's been part of at Word of Grace. "I felt a genuine sense of belonging. It's such a safety net. You encounter people going through the same situations and discover you aren't weird. It's okay to feel the way you feel."
In the eight short weeks we've been meeting, our hearts have been profoundly knit together through heartache and joy. Cassie said on the second night, "Please tell me we won't stop getting together just because the class is over." With the friendships we've formed, you can be sure we won't!
