Happy Valentine's Day to all of you across the miles! I love hearing from you as you relocate from one state, or country, to another. You are faithful in staying connected heart-to-heart through your letters, emails and phone calls. I cherish each one of them. Sometimes I even have the privilege of meeting you in person. What a joy you bring to me through this ministry!
Long ago, God gave me the passion to minister to women, like yourself, going through the transition and adjustment of moving. I just wanted to love you and encourage you through God's word and biblical principles to "move" by. I never dreamed that the overflow of my love for you would evolve into an international outreach ministry! With God, nothing is impossible! I ask you, what is your passion?
First, I encourage you to begin this time of transition in your life with a renewed heart and a renewed spirit of passion for Christ. "...seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33) Does Christ come first in your heart? Second, let this Valentine's Day be more than just the commercial push of candy and cards. Choose some time this month to examine your heart and love for Christ. Then, spend time in God's word and prayerfully seek direction and guidance for that little seed of passion to take root, grow and then bloom for Him. Don't be surprised at what God will do!
I believe in you!!

What is one thing you can do in 2006
to 'move' closer to God??
Liz from Illinois
Seek contentment with whatever you have now.
Lorri from Arizona
Create a blessings journal... with each day having two entries...each morning write 10 things I am thankful for. each night write 10 blessings I received from God that day. When the hard days comes... and we know they will, I will have a record of just how much my God can do and how much He loves me.
Mary from Texas
I want to read a chapter of Psalms each day!
Virginia from Nevada
My goal is to go through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to study and learn about Jesus.
Jeanette from Georgia
My goal is to pray more faithfully and specifically each day of the week. For example: Mon-friends; Tues-extended family; Wed-husband; Thurs-children; Fri-church; Sat-Our military; Sun-other need.!
Tonya from Florida
Find a church and join a weekly Bible Study.
Janae from Arizona
Be more aware of how God is molding me through this move and be more thankful for what He has planned for my life. |

The Journey Of 'Starting Over'
I cannot tell you how much your ministry has meant to me. I am making good progress on my journey "of adaptation", and I owe it to you, your support, and prayers.
Liz from Illinois
aa(It's a joy to know God is using our ministry in your life!)
We Cannot Grow Without Change
I thought I had the moving thing all figured out but I was so wrong, this move has been the most difficult! So, I want to thank you for the very important ministry you have. I know our staff women here at Campus Crusade for Christ who have been in our groups have grown through it and felt cared for.
Donna from Florida
aa(Thank you Donna and may God bless your work at Campus Crusade!)
Emotions Can Be Heavier Than The Boxes
I know I can come to you for encouragement and support. We are moving again! I haven't cried yet, but telling the kids and causing them pain will break my heart more than anything else I'll ever have to do. Once they know and are at peace with it, the rest of the move will be like clockwork.
None of our children have ever gone to the same school for longer than two years. That makes me a little sad, but then I understand this is the way God has made for them, so it must be the right thing for them. Even so.... it's a tall order for those boys to fill.
It's the hearts of my children that cause me the most concern so please pray for them! Thanks,
Tonya from Arizona
aa(Tonya, What a privilege to pray for your boys...and to pray for you too!)
Catching The Vision
Thanks for all you do. This ministry is so necessary.
Donna with McLean Bible Church in Virginia
aa(You are a blessing to the newcomers at your church Donna!)

Letters to God from Kids Who Move
(These letters are unedited to preserve the original spelling and punctuation.)
Dear God,
I am very happy wherever you put me. I think my house is okay. I just don't like the stairs. I love my teachers and school a lot. So everything is fine.
Talk to you soon,
Amber, age 10 Dear God,
Our cat did not like the long car ride to Texas. I like my new school. I have mad a lot of friends. We have not found a church yet but we are still looking.
I love you!
Sierra, age 7
Dear God,
Please let me go back.
Zack, age 11
Dear God,
I would ask you to guide me so I not a lot scared.
That's all.
Carly, age 6
