Trust God With Your New Beginning

Moving is all about new beginnings. Whether your move is expected or unexpected, planned or unplanned, wanted or unwanted--it means having to start over, it means a new beginning will come. As hard as the moving process can be, change can be a good thing for all of us.

New beginnings force me to trust God all the more when I feel afraid and alone. Facing the unknown and the unfamiliar forces me to depend on Him for every step of the journey. The first place I want to run to is God's word! How can I begin anything new without His promises to accompany me? Sometimes the very thing I fear is the thing God uses in my life to draw me closer to Him. As someone once said, "I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds my tomorrow."

God will enable, encourage and equip you for a new beginning. He will embrace you as you start over. Do not be afraid to step out and begin again. You may even be surprised at the new, stronger and more confident you that emerges in the process!

Isaiah 43: 18, 19
cccDo not call to mind the former things,
cccOr ponder things of the past.
cccBehold, I will do something new,
cccNow it will spring forth;
cccWill you not be aware of it?
cccI will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
cccRivers in the desert.

Scripture To Remember
Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in Him, and He will
do it. Psalm 37:5

Question To Consider
Are you trusting God with your new beginning?

Prayer
Lord, walk with me through the changes in my life. Help me to embrace starting over. I release my fears and anxious thoughts to you. I yearn for your peace about whatever lies ahead. Hold me close, never let me go. Amen

Thought for the Day
I will choose to dwell on all the positive things in my life and trust God for my future!
