Just Moved!
Touching the lives of women and families who relocate

With over 44 million people relocating each year, you or someone you know has been affected by the adjustment and transition of moving. A move can have a life-changing impact on a family and can be either a positive or a negative experience.

It's never easy to be uprooted and disconnected from everything familiar to face the unfamiliar and the unknown future. Leaving behind a home, church, community and friends can have a ripple effect on the entire family - emotionally, physically and spiritually. For women especially, the emotions of moving can be very difficult. They can experience a roller coaster of feelings such as sadness, loneliness, anger, depression, grief and loss of identity.

This is why the weekly radio program Just Moved! has been so well received on Christian Talk Radio KFXQ AM 1360 in Phoenix, Arizona. Just Moved! is a 30-minute program created to help women and families during their transition and adjustment of relocating.

The focus of the program is centered around Jesus Christ. It covers topics related to getting settled in after the move and how to prepare for a move inthe future. Helping children and teens adjust, dealing with the emotional issues that come with a transition, overcoming loneliness and how to strengthen a marriage on the move are just a few of the many topics discussed. Just Moved! features guests, call-ins, moving tips, biblical application and an encouraging message from host, Susan Miller.

Miller, who is also the author of After the Boxes Are Unpacked and But Mom, I don't Want To Move! is a veteran mover who has relocated 14 times. She is invited to speak internationally at women's events, conferences and in corporate settings. She has been a guest on many radio programs such as Focus on the Family, with Dr. James Dobson, Renewing the Heart, with Janet Parshall; and Moody's Midday Connection.

Miller is the founder of N.E.W. (Newcomers, Enfolding, Welcoming) Ministries, which brings hope and encouragement to women and their families who relocate around the world. The ministry provides personal support through classes, seminars, conferences and newsletters. Through this ministry, God's transforming love and the impact of His Word is reaching thousands of people in churches, neighborhoods, military bases, seminaries and corporations. Now this out reach has expanded through the media of radio.
