When you find your mind playing tapes of past hurts and disappointments, when you catch yourself worried about the future, turn your focus to what you can be grateful for. This is a deliberate act that is a choice. You’ll probably need to practice this many times throughout the day. It will get easier and you will begin to notice that you feel better.
