The Potter and the Clay

March 9, 2021

The Potter and the Clay

The past year has been hard. To one degree or another everyone has experienced difficult circumstances and struggle. Where was God? Was He distant or uninvolved? Uncaring? Hopefully, you have seen evidence of His care. Perhaps you’re seeing evidence of personal growth, deeper trust, and a greater degree of inner strength.

In this podcast episode, Susan shares an allegory of the potter and his lump of clay. The process to create a beautiful tea cup from the clay must include stages of intense pressure and heat. The end result is a beautiful thing to behold.

I love the visual of God being the fire and us being the clay. Thank you for the story of the beautiful tea cup.

Susan, you blog about the tea cup being molded was beautiful. I plan to share it with my friends and daughters and granddaughters. God has certainly used you to encourage. Thank you for being so available to His service. God bless you.
